I have been suffering with Osteoarthritis for many years, particularly my left knee and despite previously seeing Orthopaedic Consultants, I was unhappy with the service provided. However, it was inevitable that I would need a Total Knee Replacement. Following my persistence, I was referred by my local GP and I was very fortunate to be able to choose the One Hatfield hospital. At my initial consultation with Mr Thakrar, he immediately put me at ease by fully explaining the procedure. I was especially reassured since in my whole life I have never had cause to go into hospital for any operation! The procedure went well and I would to thank Mr Thakrar for his excellent professionalism and his team also deserve a special mention. I would highly recommend Mr Thakrar to anyone who has to undergo this surgery.

Mr Thakrar explained the procedure & answered my questions & put me at my ease. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who is thinking of having a knee replacement. His after care has been excellent. He is someone who who gives you confidence in his manner & ability.
